Link Your Phone

The image “http://www.jaxtr.com/user/img/new/global/header_logo.jpg” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.

Jaxtr was founded in October 2005 by Phillip Mobin and Touraj Parang with the mission to bring voice to social networks and blogs. With the free jaxtr service, users can link their phones with their online network to hear from callers worldwide while keeping their existing phone numbers private.

And jaxtr is not just about hearing from people who visit a user's profile or blog. By adding their jaxtr link to their email signature, global friends can call our users on their phone with the click of the mouse - without downloading any software, incurring international phone charges or even registering for jaxtr.

When users change their work, home or mobile number, they simply add or update their number on jaxtr; incoming calls then get routed to the phone of their choice. They can even block callers from reaching them or specify on a per-caller basis which callers can reach them live and which get routed to voice mail. Isn't that sweet?

Print

With PrinterAnywhere you can print documents and photos on other people’s printers as easily as on the local one connected to your machine. No special technical knowledge is required from both – printer owner and user. It just works!

With our software you can print directly from your application such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, Photo Editor or any other program you work with to a printer connected to another computer next door or ten thousand miles away (anywhere!).

By using industry-standard encryption algorithms we ensure fast and secure delivery of the electronic printing materials (not your original documents!) to the other end. You can also control how many copies should be printed on the paper.

Unlike email, PrinterAnywhere does not allow forwarding electronic copies of the documents to third parties. This prevents potential misuse of the information and eliminates possible privacy issues. You don’t need to have an email account to use PrinterAnywhere.

Unlike fax, PrinterAnywhere does not require the documents being scanned and only then transmitted. As long as the documents are in an electronic form on your computer, you can print them as usual (typically by selecting menu File – Print) on the remote printer. Scanning paper documents locally and printing them on the other end is always a possibility too. And, you don’t need to have a fax machine and dedicated phone line.

10 Reasons Why To Print with PrinterAnywhere:

  • I want to ensure the documents are printed and not just received
  • I don’t want to send (email) electronic copies of the documents
  • My recipient does not have the application to open my document
  • I want to print paper photos on my relatives’ printer
  • I want to ensure the documents are printed only on a specific printer
  • I want to print directly from my applications as if it were on my local printer
  • Microsoft printer sharing on my home network doesn’t seem to work for me
  • The document is too big to print locally and fax (and I want to save paper!)
  • Fax quality is not enough, international fax calls are expensive.
  • I want to print now. For free!

Why you need to print on someone else’s printer is up to you. Leave the rest to PrinterAnywhere.

Share printer

With PrinterAnywhere you can share your printer in less than a minute and let other people connected to the Internet (your friends, relative and colleagues) print paper documents on it. You don’t need to know or deal with specifics of network sharing, complex settings and figuring out Windows access rights.

Our software automatically detects printers connected to your computer including local network printers. As long as you can print in it yourself, you can share the printer and let other people use it. You can stop sharing one or any number of shared printers at any time. Sharing printers is intuitive, simple, easy to understand and control.

As an owner of the printer you may wish to confirm every print job before physically printing it on the paper. You may also wish to know who the document came from and have an option to accept or reject it. Both features are available in PrinterAnywhere software.

With our solution you can almost immediately receive and print documents and photos from your friends and relatives. You don’t need to receive emails (even to have an email account) and therefore deal with many issues associated with emails – unwanted messages (spam), viruses and spyware that are common.

Traditionally, many documents would be sent via fax. Just like fax PrinterAnywhere provides the point-to-point immediate document delivery. However, unlike fax it does not have quality issues (the documents are delivered digitally without any data or quality loss), large documents including graphics can be transmitted in seconds and you don’t need to have an ugly old fax machine.

10 Reasons Why To Share Printer with PrinterAnywhere:

  • I want someone to print on my printer
  • I don’t want to receive emails then print
  • I want to ensure the document came from a legitimate source (the person I know)
  • I don’t want any electronic copies of the documents I print
  • I print high-quality images for my users
  • One of my printers broke and I urgently want to print on another
  • I am traveling and want to print legal documents at home or in the office
  • Receiving big documents via fax takes time. Quality is often bad.
  • I want to easily control when and to whom to share my printers
  • I don’t want to pay for it!

Overview

aznV.TV is a private, non-profit site that was designed from the ground up by a few individuals. It is now maintained and ran voluntarily by most members of the community. We take pride and care into the site, and have made it what it is today.

We started streaming live TV back in November 2004, on a community known as aznV.NET. Then, in July 2005, we launched aznV.TV, a website that now streams quality asian video-on-demand.

Mission Statement

aznV.TV is a non-profit organization which offers streaming media to many countries across the world. Our main goal is to utilize our organization to show the artistry and uniqueness of Asian Media to the world, mainly in those parts of the world which the Asian Media phenomenon has yet to penetrate.

Network

Our network consists of servers co-located in various datacenters. We use quality bandwidth for all our video streaming. Our primary datacenter of choice are the quality NOC's offered by Equinix. Our service provider, PullThePlug Technologies is our service provider of choice, which is who we have co-located with.

Technologies

Our video-on-demand servers are equipped with new technologies such as the AMD Athlon64 process, over 1GB memory and large drive arrays (over 1TB). We use the Windows 2003 operating systems for the best performance.

who am i?
a 2nd year college student still figuring out what to major in. i like anime, music, video games, and sushi (as if you couldn't tell). "shinji" is a nick that i've used online since i can remember.

what is crunchyroll?
just a collection of videos my friends and i collected over the years, mostly drama, music and game vids.

why did i make crunchyroll?
i created this site for me and my friends so it would be easy for us to share our videos with each other, but they leaked to other people and its grown into something i never really expected ^_^ hopefully, crunchyroll can be a fun place for people to hang out, talk about anime, watch and share videos they've made.

i love anime and i'll keep crunchyroll running forever, or probably until i can't pay my tuition and ramen anymore (damn you, college!!). i hope you enjoy browsing around. send me any feedback at shinji at crunchyroll dot com.

thanks to animenfo for all the descriptions, animesuki for great tracking, all the awesome fansub groups out there, and to everyone who has donated so far!

have a great summer! BANKAI!

Free Online Image Conversion & Manipulation Tool

Q: What is iaza?
A: iaza is an image conversion web service for digital cameras. To this end, iaza provides a number of image conversion tools for transforming and manipulating images of various kinds.
Q: Why was iaza created?
A: To make the conversion and manipulation of digital images as easy as possible. Image conversion usually requires that these images first be downloaded and then manipulated by a PC application. However, image conversion and manipulation should be like searching - always available online, simple, direct and free. Hence iaza.
Q: How much does it cost to use iaza?
A: iaza is free.
Q: Are there limitations to iaza?
A: Yes. Given that iaza is free, size constraints are imposed on files. These constraints are generous and should pose no problem for the vast majority of conversions.
Q: How does iaza handle file privacy and security?
A: iaza is an absolutely anonymous and confidential service. Uploaded files are given codes unique to your session and thus are not visible to anyone else on the internet. All temporary files are purged and iaza never retains any information related to your use of the site. iaza does not require your email address or any personal information. Thus, there is no possibility of ever being spammed or having iaza itself annoy you in any way.

Convert Text into an Image

The image “http://www.hidetext.net/assets/_logo5.gif” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.

Hidetext.net
lets you convert text to an image. This means you can hide passwords, personal messages, pieces of code, or any kind of private information on forums, blogposts, emails, irc, msn-aim chats,....
The created image can be linked to, or you can download the image and delete it directly from the server.

Search Engines

Google, Yahoo are great at indexing sites (actually we're Google fans ourselves). Forum owners, as any other site owner do everything possible to get their site spidered and indexed as good as possible. And that's great, but sometimes you want a little privacy too.

A simple scenario: you're the network administrator or run your own company and need to ask some questions on a forum, but on the other hand, you don't want the whole world to know what your problems are. They may sound stupid, they might contain some sensitive information: actually, you just don't want to look like an ass if someone googles you. Well, throw in your question with all necessary details in HideText and post it.
And only the people really that need to read it - the forum readers that might help you out - will read it.

MSN/AIM

Unlike skype, every letter with msn/aim is sent s done as plain text. Someone sniffing and logging the right ports can easily pickup the whole conversation. Well sometimes you need to send a password, or login information to someone - the phrase "don't send passwords via MSN!" may sound familiar (as it's often said even by Microsoft themselves). Just throw it in HideText and send the recipient the image.

There are more solid and better ways, to secure your data-traffic (but those mostly involve keys, programs to be installed, plugins etc).

HideText doesn't pretend to be much more then a little tool to obfuscate your text and that may just help you out from time to time to hide things. Improve your privacy a little bit. Nothing more nothing less.

Quick FAQ:

  • How long will my files be stores?
Forever, at least if they're accessed once per year.
  • Are there any limits of how much text can I throw in?
We threw in some some complete books from the gutenberg project, and they work out just fine.
  • This is all swell, but how do I know if you guys are not peeping into my stuff?!
We've got better things to do, really. We're just not interested.
  • Why did you make this site?
We made it for ourselves and figured it could be useful for everyone.
  • Is anything logged here? Are the files really deleted?
Yes, they're just deleted and nothing is logged here.
  • Why am I reading this?
Well if you don't even know, how could we?

  • The image “http://www.hidetext.net/hide/0IgGBfiJ12.gif” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.
