The Best in Asian TV

Overview

aznV.TV is a private, non-profit site that was designed from the ground up by a few individuals. It is now maintained and ran voluntarily by most members of the community. We take pride and care into the site, and have made it what it is today.

We started streaming live TV back in November 2004, on a community known as aznV.NET. Then, in July 2005, we launched aznV.TV, a website that now streams quality asian video-on-demand.

Mission Statement

aznV.TV is a non-profit organization which offers streaming media to many countries across the world. Our main goal is to utilize our organization to show the artistry and uniqueness of Asian Media to the world, mainly in those parts of the world which the Asian Media phenomenon has yet to penetrate.

Network

Our network consists of servers co-located in various datacenters. We use quality bandwidth for all our video streaming. Our primary datacenter of choice are the quality NOC's offered by Equinix. Our service provider, PullThePlug Technologies is our service provider of choice, which is who we have co-located with.

Technologies

Our video-on-demand servers are equipped with new technologies such as the AMD Athlon64 process, over 1GB memory and large drive arrays (over 1TB). We use the Windows 2003 operating systems for the best performance.

who am i?
a 2nd year college student still figuring out what to major in. i like anime, music, video games, and sushi (as if you couldn't tell). "shinji" is a nick that i've used online since i can remember.

what is crunchyroll?
just a collection of videos my friends and i collected over the years, mostly drama, music and game vids.

why did i make crunchyroll?
i created this site for me and my friends so it would be easy for us to share our videos with each other, but they leaked to other people and its grown into something i never really expected ^_^ hopefully, crunchyroll can be a fun place for people to hang out, talk about anime, watch and share videos they've made.
